Maintenance Supervisor
Salt Lake City, UT – On-site
$80,000 – $100,000 base salary + 5% bonus (based on plant performance)
Role Summary
Our client is seeking a hands-on, driven Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced, transitional manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership position where you’ll set the tone for performance, accountability, and operational excellence. You’ll be tasked with stabilizing, training, and building a high-performing maintenance team while also leading by example—getting on the floor when needed and rolling up your sleeves to ensure success.

Required Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude with deep knowledge of automation, pneumatics, and electrical systems

Experience using CMMS platforms (MaintainX or similar)

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to implement and transition teams to new systems and standard operating procedures

Previous experience supervising maintenance teams, ideally across multiple shifts

Confident leadership style with the ability to train, develop, and rebuild teams

Comfortable in a 24/7 operation, including working 10+ hour days and occasional off-hours

Proven ability to handle resistance, lead through change, and keep teams aligned during high-pressure situations

Strong communication skills and a track record of promoting a safety- and quality-driven culture
Desired Qualifications

Experience in plastics, food, or other regulated manufacturing industries

Familiarity with machine sanitation standards, particularly in food-grade or pharma-grade settings

History of stepping into underperforming facilities and driving measurable improvement

Experience in non-union environments

Demonstrated ability to build trust and foster accountability in technical teams
