Maintenance Manager - Biomass Power Station
Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading Biomass company within the Power Sector to recruit a Maintenance Manager for its site in Suffolk.
The Maintenance Manager role comes with a starting salary of up to £65,000 + benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Plant Manager you will be responsible for:
Leading a team of multi-discipline technicians, providing technical support, guidance and direction.
Managing the short-term and long-term maintenance objectives for site.
Having responsibility for the maintenance budget for site, ensuring its alignment with the sites business plan.
Coordinating, planning and managing all outages on site, including liaising with external contractors as required.
Managing the procurement of goods and services within responsibility area.
Managing the adoption on site of the latest technologies in plant condition monitoring and compliance.
Supporting with the execution of the HSE Management System.
Assist the Financial Controller with detailing and communicating all maintenance costs.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
HNC or equivalent qualification in relevant engineering discipline, preference for mechanical bias but EC&I also considered.
A NEBOSH certificate would be highly beneficial.
A management qualification (level 3 or above) would be highly beneficial
5 years' experience working in power or similar sector.
Personal skills
The Maintenance Manager role would suit someone who is:
Able to manage and inspire the team
Driven with the desire to achieve.
Able to work outside of hours, ad-hoc as site requirements dictate.

Starting salary of £60,000 - £65,000
