We’re hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic  in the city of FONTANA, CA!!

Monday-Friday and possible weekends

Cold Environment- Working for a Cheese company.

2ND shift: 2pm-10:30pm

JOB SUMMARY:

Maintain all equipment and facility grounds according to SQF standards and safety regulations; manage maintenance systems for compliance with SQF, FDA GMP, HACCP, customer, and third-party quality and food safety audit requirements. Oversee all production personnel and maintenance related issues.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Fabricate parts as needed using various tools and techniques, including welding.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Supervise and lead maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety protocols.
• Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential maintenance needs.
• Utilize logic controllers for troubleshooting automated systems.
• Operate tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
• Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime during repairs.
