Job DescriptionSenior Maintenance Technician
The Senior Maintenance Technician is a highly visible member of the organization and ensures Access facilities and equipment operate at the utmost efficiency and comfort for our patients, visitors, and staff. This position will perform many critical functions in the areas of preventable maintenance and repair to Access facilities to include heating, ventilating, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
In addition, this role supports the maintenance and repair of dental and/or medical equipment at Access. The Senior Maintenance Technician also supports Access work with vendors who perform maintenance work for Access. This position is responsible for setting up and moving mobile dental equipment at various school districts in and around Dane County as directed by facilities management. This role will be expected to understand and support the maintenance of the mobile dental RV. This would include gaining working knowledge of RV heating, cooling and electrical systems along with basic knowledge of diesel-powered equipment through their support of the Maintenance Specialist. The Maintenance Technician is expected to be on call as needed for any facilities related emergencies or support. This position performs these duties while staying customer focused.
Travel to all Access locations is required.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience
Other Relevant Qualifications:
- Electrician: 2-5 year apprenticeship or journeyman's electrician
- HVAC: 3-5 year apprenticeship or journeyman's HVAC
Compensation and Benefits:
Our total compensation package includes competitive wages, plus a full range of attractive benefits for regular full and part time staff working a minimum of 20 hours per week and includes:
Compensation starts at $28.00 hourly and will be adjusted according to experience.
