Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic A for our client in Portland, OR. The successful candidate will bring a background in manufacturing and have experience maintaining, planning, and providing mechanic equipment maintenance.

Maintenance Mechanic Shift: Overnight 3-4-4-3

Maintenance Mechanic Pay: $36.42

Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair both hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Could include conveyor systems, bucket elevators, gears, chains, belts, pumps.

• Cut, weld and fabricate.

• Perform preventative maintenance.

Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.

• 3+ years of maintenance experience, with 2+ of them in a manufacturing industry.

• Ability to use schematics, blueprints, technical drawings.

• Ability to weld and fabricate for repair purposes.

• Experience operating boom and scissor lifts.

• Ability to meet deadlines in high-pressure situations.

• Ability to work in indoor/outdoor/climate controlled and non controlled environments.

• Ability to differentiate colors and shades of colors and see distances and depth perception.
