Our Salt Lake facility is adding a Maintenance Mechanic to our team on 2nd Shift.
JOB SUMMARY
This critical role will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining production equipment in a team environment. Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Reading and understanding engineering prints and schematics
- Diagnosing mechanical issues
- Dismantling and repairing machines
- Replacing defective parts
- Performing preventive maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with outside contractors as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma of Equivalent; post-secondary training or coursework is
- 2+ years of previous experience as a manufacturing maintenance technician
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Above average mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50lbs
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, subject to noise and extreme temperatures
