Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM





Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM





Schedule: Monday through Sunday, with one day off every 13 days.





Off Pack Season (November - June):





Shifts Available:





Day Shift Only: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM





Schedule: Monday through Thursday (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off).





Compensation:





Pay range: $26.74 - $30.72 per hour, based on experience and qualifications





Maintenance Mechanic I





We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to join our team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing food processing equipment to ensure smooth operations during both the production and non-production periods.





Job Responsibilities:





Inspect, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment throughout the facility.





Troubleshoot, repair, and replace machinery as required.





Read blueprints and sketches to determine layout for assigned work.





Design, fabricate, weld, and install equipment when necessary.





Maintain accurate records of work performed and preventive maintenance completed.





Monitor equipment operations and make adjustments as needed.





Assist with ordering parts and supplies for the department.





Provide training and guidance to junior Mechanics.





Key Qualifications:





Ability to use hand and power tools, including welders (MIG & TIG) and torch cutters.





Good written and oral communication skills.





Strong mechanical repair and equipment maintenance knowledge.





Attention to detail when working with diagrams, prints, and manuals.





High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or training is beneficial.





Five years of maintenance mechanic experience in an industrial setting.





Physical Requirements:





Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.





Must be able to stand, reach, push, pull, twist, squat, and bend during shifts.





Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, with exposure to various weather conditions, machinery noise, and wet floors.





Safety Requirements:





Must wear required personal protective equipment such as bump hats, eye and ear protection, and other safety gear as necessary.
