Maintenance Millwright - Tier 1 Automotive

Job Description Key Responsibilities: Perform mechanical maintenance functions on all equipment required to produce quality manufactured product. Assembles and installs new equipment and machines and is able to make modifications to existing equipment as requested. Repair and maintain mechanical components of production equipment and machines Perform reactive work troubleshooting and repairing production equipment on a daily basis, preventing or reducing unplanned equipment delays Inspect machinery as it arrives, unload the parts, and then assemble them with the safe and effective use of hand and power tools. Performs preventive and predictive maintenance on production and production supporting equipment as outlined in the individual work instructions. Regular inspection on machinery in accordance with preventative maintenance program, including repair and replacement of parts. Identify, plan and implement machine improvements for better quality and productivity. Work in a cost effective manner and maintains a high standards of quality and excellent workmanship. Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager KeyQualifications: Industrial Millwright Certification 433A Demonstrated aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications Applicable knowledge about preventative maintenance methods and procedures Must be able to work as a self-directed, motivated team member in a fully integrated Manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to work within a Cross-Functional Technical Team Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment Knowledge of automated machinery and the mechanical ability to handle a fast paced environment Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical theory. Must have good organizational skills, and be a self-starter Able to work with minimal supervision
