This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and make a positive impact within our organisation.Key Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining all plant and equipment, adhering to health service policies.Conduct repairs and maintenance across the health service.Ensure compliance with standards, legislation, and regulations during equipment installation and maintenance.Promote a safe working environment by adhering to Work Health Safety legislation and safe work practices.Participate in risk identification and minimisation processes.Support accreditation requirements as directed.Be prepared for occasional out-of-hours and on-call work. Essential Criteria: Qualifications: Significant experience in maintenance or a relevant trade qualification. Skills: Proficient in using hand and power toolsBuilding and maintenance skills (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, painting).Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse customers.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Problem-solving skills with a knack for fault finding. Experience: Proven background in a variety of maintenance activities, including building, grounds, and equipment upkeep.High level of computer literacy and administrative skills. Knowledge: Understanding of relevant standards and legislative requirements.Familiarity with chemical safety and OHS&W principles.Knowledge of quality systems.
