CRM Students is seeking a Temporary Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Coventry for a crucial 1-week turnaround period. This is an exciting opportunity to help us ensure our student accommodation meets the highest standards as we prepare for the new academic year.



Key Responsibilities:



Perform basic plumbing tasks, including fixing leaks, unblocking drains, and repairing taps.



Carry out basic electrical repairs, such as replacing bulbs, sockets, and switches.



Undertake carpentry work, including fixing doors, assembling furniture, and general woodwork.



Execute painting and decorating tasks to refresh rooms and communal areas.



Complete snagging tasks, identifying and resolving minor defects to ensure rooms are up to the required standards.



Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.



Skills & Experience:



Basic knowledge and experience in plumbing, electrics, carpentry, and painting/decorating.



Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.



Ability to work independently and as part of a team.



Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.



Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is but not essential.
