Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

Red Rock Consultants are recruiting for a Maintenance Operative in Cambridge.



Job Description:



As a Maintenance Operative, your role is to ensure an exceptional customer experience by delivering a proactive and efficient repair and maintenance service. You will be responsible for promptly addressing any faults and maintenance requests within the accommodation, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.



Key Responsibilities:



* Carry out high-quality repair and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, painting, and decorating. Additionally, oversee any subcontracted work related to these areas to ensure standards are met.



* Complete reactive maintenance tasks promptly and to a consistently high standard, ensuring timely resolution of issues.



* Oversee planned maintenance tasks, including fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, fire extinguisher inspections, water hygiene flushing and temperature monitoring, shower head descaling, and health & safety inspections.



Requirements:



* A good understanding of H&S legislation.



* To be qualified in either plumbing, joinery, or electrical systems is desirable.



* Previous experience of domestic electrical, plumbing and general maintenance.



Hours:



* Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm



* 1 in 4 Saturday’s 8am to 5pm on a rota basis
