Just let us know on your application if you wish to work part time\n\nOpportunities for Professional Career Development that include funding for the annual membership of a relevant professional body, access to mentors and training\n\nEmployee Assistance Programme and Occupational Health Services\n\nA generous defined contribution Group Personal Pension (we will pay between 9% and 13% of your pensionable pay depending on your own contribution)\n\nLife Assurance\n\nDiscounts - access to savings on a wide range of everyday spending\n\nSpecial Leave Policy including paid time off for volunteering, public service (including reserve forces) and caring for your family\n\nA host of voluntary & core benefits to suit your health and wellbeing - more information available on our careers site\n\nAWE is now recruiting for Maintenance & Reliability Engineers to deliver engineering solutions that will maximise productivity, reliability, innovation and quality to the business.\n\nWhat will you be required to do?\n\nDeliver Maintenance & Reliability solutions in relation to defined requirements, across the full engineering lifecycle\n\nLead/participate in failure mode effects analysis of critical assets and key systems\n\nLead/participate in root cause analysis techniques\n\nEffective stakeholder management, engaging and influencing others in order to drive improvements across the function\n\nIdentify and support opportunities for cost savings, efficiency and business improvement\n\nExpand own engineering skills and experience relevant to engineering domain\n\nUsing KPI's to ensure work remains on track and performance is measured\n\nWe'd love to hear from individuals with the following:\n\nA recognised Engineering-related qualification (NVQ level 4/HNC ideal) and a strong maintenance engineering background (the hiring manager is flexible on discipline)\n\nThe ability to solve a range of technical problems and make the necessary decisions to rectify\n\nAbility to communicate and present reports with others on technical requirements and modifications\n\nKnowledge & experience of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems would be highly beneficial in order to support analysis activities\n\nBecause what we do is of the highest security, to work here you'll need to be a British and normally to have resided in the UK for the past five years for Security Clearance (SC) roles and ten years for Developed Vetting (DV) roles.
