This position is responsible for supporting the maintenance organization by planning and scheduling daily maintenance activities. The position also properly maintains equipment records, work order logs, registries, and inventory.
● Abides by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position; participates in appropriate safety training; demonstrates a commitment to and support of SH&E principles and values; champions safety as necessary.
● Review work requests and plan work orders in computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) system.
● Initiate Work Orders for equipment requiring internal or external resources and coordinate pickup and delivery of needed materials.
● Interface with internal customers and third-party contractors to clarify the scope of work, and level of schedule detail, and provide technical evaluation according to contractual requirements to effectively plan and manage maintenance activities.
● Plan an efficient amount of backlog to insure a steady flow of value added work for the scheduling of maintenance craftsmen.
● Safe work execution will be promoted through development of detailed Job Hazard Analysis documentation and compliance with all local permitting and procedures.
● Purchasing materials, equipment and supplies from approved suppliers including but not limited to mechanical and electronic components, fabricated parts and other non-inventory items.
● Planning material requirements per and regulatory requirements, managing inventory levels, expediting parts, and managing schedules based on resource availability and priority.
● Organizes and arranges all required means to execute work and ensures job sites are prepared for work and all conditions have been fulfilled to establish the first possible schedule.
● Stage parts for all planned jobs with work order number and job planned attached.
● Ensures outside contracted resources are properly certified and or trained prior to carrying out work inside the terminals.
● Participate and facilitate root cause analysis of equipment failures and defects to prepare work packages with detailed information and scope of work for planning, execution, and maintenance.
● Reviews completed maintenance reports and determines if follow up actions are needed and has them validated.
● Understands and identifies opportunities to improve individual equipment repair costs, decrease downtime, and optimize efficiency.
● Maintains equipment history files and PM inspection records.
● Participates in daily and/or weekly work process management meetings
● Support area team of operating, maintenance and engineering members that result in reduced downtime & improved asset performance.
● Participate and align with leadership during the budgeting process.
● Monitor applicable metrics and improve planning performance.
● Performs other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally expected scope of this position.
● Perform On-Call functions providing maintenance resources.

Skills:
● 3y+ years of experience using Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) SAP, MAXIMO, INFOR, ETC.)
● 3y+ years of experience (Combined or in One Craft):
○ Pump Installation & Pump Repair – Millwright (MOST DESIRED)
○ Pipe Fitting or Welding – Pipe Fitter/Welder/Inspector
○ Tank Maintenance & Repair – Tank Rebuilds, Tank Inspection, Tank Repair

○ Electrical – High Voltage, Low Voltage, Breaker Repair/Replacement
○ Instrumentation – Radar Levels, Tank Gauging, Flow Meters
