Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Magpie People are working with a specialist Engineering company based in Sheffield who are looking to expand their maintenance team. You should have experience of heavy engineering ideally from within a Maintenance support or planning role.\n\nMain Duties of the Maintenance Engineering Supervisor role\n\n * Working closely with the Engineering manager to support the plant and site maintenance across the business\n\n * Support site maintenance teams with both planned and reactive maintenance work\n\n * Ensure company compliance with all current legislation, and update all relevant documentation.\n\n * Work to achieve departmental KPI’s including the review of these KPI’s and changes to target.\n\n * Attend and take part in the daily meeting to delegate work to the maintenance teams and ensure all work is being completed\n\n * Prioritisation and scheduling of works to be carried out.\n\n * Ensure Engineering teams are working with targets set by Engineering manager\n\n * Support the engineering team in the control of engineering generated waste and minimisation of energy consumption\n\nYou should have\n\n * Ideally have a recognised engineering industry qualification.\n\n * Experience of supporting the manufacturing process from an admin and planning background within maintenance or production side of the business\n\n * Knowledge of plant and working processes across a manufacturing facility\n\n * Good understanding of engineering systems (ERP, MRP, scheduling systems\n\nFor more information on the role and to apply for the role.
