Maintenance Supervisor will manage and coordinate the activities of the Maintenance Department. Continuously improve and coordinate plant preventative/predictive maintenance program. Support initiatives to optimize and improve equipment. Position is responsible for ensuring equipment integrity and timely repair.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

- Maintain an effective PM program. Train and interact with non-Maintenance Department employees as needed to ensure PM compliance.
- Work closely with employees to troubleshoot plant equipment.
- Ensure equipment downtime, due to equipment failure or PM, does not exceed current downtime standard.
- Identify equipment failure caused by improper care or use and provide appropriate corrective action.
- Maintain an effective training program for Maintenance Department employees and all other employees required to participate in any preventive/predictive maintenance (PM) activity.
- Ensure plant is adequately staffed with appropriate maintenance personnel at all times to ensure full and continuous production operations, given authorized Maintenance Department staffing.
- Maintain a safety culture within the Maintenance Department that positively influences safety efforts outside the Maintenance Department and helps reduce safety incidences.
- Perform managerial duties related to personnel decision, including but not limited to; writing and conducting performance evaluation, hiring, disciplinary and termination decision in conjunction with the Human Resource Department, and work assignments.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must:
- High School Degree or GED
- A college degree ()
- 3-5 years maintenance experience in within a manufacturing or industrial setting
- 5 years of management and training experience in the maintenance department
- Low income housing or section 8 experience
