MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

- Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with safety and environmental regulations. This includes conducting regular inspections and audits to identify any potential hazards and taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure that equipment and facilities are properly maintained. This includes planning and coordinating routine maintenance activities, as well as scheduling repairs and replacements as needed.
- Monitor the performance of equipment and facilities under your supervision. This includes keeping track of maintenance records, identifying any recurring issues, and coordinating repairs with maintenance technicians and contractors.
- Manage the parts warehouse and inventory. This includes ensuring that an adequate supply of spare parts is available, conducting regular inventory checks, and coordinating with suppliers to replenish stock as needed.
- Provide supervision and guidance to maintenance technicians and contractors. This includes assigning tasks, monitoring their performance, providing training and development opportunities, and ensuring that work is carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production and engineering. This includes participating in cross-functional meetings, sharing insights and best practices, and implementing improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
- Provide training and development opportunities to your maintenance team. This includes identifying areas for improvement, conducting performance reviews, and offering training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and any other relevant information. This includes using a computerized maintenance management system to track and manage maintenance records.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve maintenance and safety-related issues. This includes addressing any immediate concerns and developing plans to prevent future issues.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum 5 -10 years maintenance, electrical and mechanical experience
- 3 years supervisory experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Base knowledge of building systems
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Must be able to relay accurate information via multiple communication vehicles including verbal and written mechanisms
- Experience in Advanced Control or Advanced Electronic is a must
- Boiler experience is a plus
