Who We’re Looking for
We’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to manage the proper upkeep and maintenance of equipment, building and property at our manufacturing facility.The ideal candidate will be reliable and detail-oriented with a working knowledge of upkeep and maintenance of various systems related to a manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Supervisor will directly lead a team of maintenance technicians, will work closely with the production team and will report to the Plant Manager.

Maintain property including but not limited to offices, production areas, public areas, and equipment through development and implementation of preventive maintenance program

Ensure all maintenance and repairs are completed in a timely, cost-effective manner and according to all specifications

Manage organization’s physical operations including but not limited to refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, emergency generators, plumbing, water treatment, and electric systems

Interface with appropriate staff/managers to receive information regarding maintenance needs; ensures timely response to requests

Interface with appropriate staff/managers, engineers, and outside contractors to review and/or develop renovation and new construction plans, coordinates communication with and work of outside contractors

Ensure all fire and safety inspections are completed and any discrepancies corrected; ensure property is following all safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and regulations

Supervise and assists staff in maintenance and repair of equipment, buildings, and property as needed

Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of city and state building codes, OSHA requirements, and ADA laws; implement OSHA and ADA guidelines and programs

Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of ventilation/air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skills

Hire, train, supervise, motivate, and develop maintenance staff; manages schedules and workflow.

Assign duties and monitor quality of work; ensure staff conforms to organizational policies and procedures and safety regulations.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Experience and Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university, or three to four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Three to four years of maintenance supervisor experience.

Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

Working knowledge of facilities, machines and equipment.

Ability to keep track of and report on activity.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.

Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.

Excellent management and supervisory skills.
