Maintenance Supervisor

Waterloo, Iowa - Full Time

Productive Resources(www.productiveresources.com)is seeking acandidateto be part of our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Waterloo, IA. As a member of our team, the selected candidate willbe responsible for achieving departmental/area goals and objectives. Supervise semi to highly skilled production and/or maintenance employees on an assigned shift to ensure the manufacture of products within established delivery, quality, safety and cost standards. The supervisor is the first-line liaison between the production employees and the management staff and thus also serves the function of representing the company's interests with the shop floor staff.

This full-time position is indefinite in duration with theopportunityof professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

• Provide leadership to hourly employees.
• Coordinate and schedule tasks to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Meet quality and delivery objectives.
• Spend 50% of the day on the shop floor

Requirements:

• 3rd Shift (9:30 pm to 6 am).
• 1+ years of production/manufacturing supervisory experience.
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Comfortable leading hourly employees in a factory environment.
• Proficient in MS Office (including Excel).
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• Experience in planning and estimating work.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and tool and die.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Eligible for in-person interviews

• SAP experience.
