Remedy is excited to support a very well-respected manufacturer in the Erie, PA area as the embark on an important search for a skilled Maintenance Supervisor! This Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the servicing of all facility equipment to ensure production continuity and safety. Here are some key details for your consideration:

Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire
Reports To: Facilities Maintenance Manager
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000/year, depending upon experience PLUS paid OT!
Hours: We're looking for candidates with a flexible schedule to fit into opportunities on 2nd shift and open to OT

Principal accountabilities for this role will include the following:
- Coordinates and assists in the installation, maintenance, servicing and repair of all equipment necessary for the safe continuation of manufacturing operations
- Coordinate programs including emergency, preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure optimum equipment capability
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair large manufacturing equipment including pneumatics, hydraulics, compressors, chillers, heat exchangers, drives, robotic, gear boxes, conveyor systems, pumps, piping/valves, filters/strainers and steam systems
- Oversee maintenance operations, effectively utilizing man power, machinery and materials
- Recommend and implement systems and processes to improve productivity, product quality and reliability
- Identify training and development opportunity's, manage employee performance and drive collective team goals
Maintenance Supervisors who are interested in pursuing this role should possess the following background profile:
- 2 year technical degree, Bachelor's degree a huge plus!
- AT LEAST 5+ years of prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing maintenance setting
- Thorough understanding of OSHA, JIC, NEMA and NEC
- Skilled in electrical and mechanical processes/principles
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and maintenance work order systems
- Demonstrated, hands-on technical ability to diagnose/repair/maintain equipment detailed above; basic welding, metals fabrication, fluid and lubrication systems knowledge is also essential
