Maintenance Supervisor- Electrical

Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor- Electrical to join our team! The successful candidate will coordinate and supervise electricians in the installation, maintenance and repair industrial production and processing machinery.

Responsibilities:

- Direct the repair, install, and maintenance of industrial machinery

-Assign daily work to crews (all three shifts, 7 days)

- Schedule crews and keep safety training up to date

- Maintain Electric Shop spare parts inventory for consumable and rebuilt parts

-Cross train crews to increase proficiency in all areas

-Coordinate Overhead crane inspections and establish repair priorities

-Maintain good accurate documentation for all areas, update as needed

-Train crews on any new processes, equipment so they are prepared to maintain

-Develop plans and budget needed to update obsolete equipment

-Eliminate temporary wiring

-Coordinate IR testing, motor testing and PM’s

-Insure PM work is completed timely, findings are acted on and schedules are modified as needed

-Develop any SOP’s needed for the crews to work safely

-Track electrical delays in all areas and develop plans to reduce

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience supervising electricians in an industrial environment
• Strong electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• PLC knowledge
• Strong organizational skills
