Maintenance Supervisor (Night Shift)

First-line supervisor accountable and responsible for management of the assigned shift/area to ensure the shift/area is operating efficiently and safely at all times to meet business objectives.
General Job Requirements / Experience / Background:
- Ensure the operation runs efficiently and safely while achieving KPIs;
- Plan and direct the daily schedule of all direct reports to provide maintenance and repairs for plant equipment and processes; assure employee efficient execution of assignments;
- Ensure employees/contractors are trained and capable of safely performing the tasks assigned;
- Maintain and organize work order system for timely completion of work; responsible for project management and planning of work orders; source vendors, manage parts/supplies inventory;
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as needed; able to plan/execute appropriate resolutions; perform minor equipment servicing; communicate directly with production and other personnel for assistance as needed and conduct root cause analysis; ensure implementation of measures & controls;
- Complete necessary administrative tasks; conduct reports, pre-shift meetings, and create informational reports relevant to operations such as downtime; timely submission of all safety and other incident investigations, payroll and personnel change information;
- Coach, instruct, and assist direct reports with their assignments to achieve levels of expected performance;
- Ensures compliance to Company policies, procedures, and standards; takes corrective and disciplinary action as appropriate; confers with Human Resources as appropriate;
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast pace environment; report to work on regular and consistent basis; conduct self in an ethical, moral and legal manner;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; works effectively with others as an individual contributor or as a team member;
- Proficient in Microsoft products necessary for reporting and documentation;
- Experience in Utilities and wastewater operations and manufacturing experience desired;
- Previous supervisory experience, budget/cost management experience desired;
- Perform other duties and tasks as may be assigned or expected.
