Maintenance Surveyor - Housing Association - About the Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Housing Association based in ther south to appoint a permanent Maintenance Surveyor. The role offers agile working opportunities which pays £44,000 - £46,000.

Maintenance Surveyor - Housing Association - About the Role:

• Attend properties to carry out inspections and assess damage/disrepair (including voids); establish its cause and determine responsibility
• Identify existing and potential future maintenance issues and report them to the Property Services Team
• Supervise contractors work on site as necessary and report concerns regarding performance and conduct
• Carry out post inspections and scheduling of works within set timescales

Maintenance Surveyor - Housing Association - What You Need:

• ONC/HNC/NVQ qualification or similar professional qualification is desirable
• Full Driving License - essential
• Knowledge and understanding of building construction, maintenance, and social housing legislation
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Health and safety legislation knowledge
