General Position Description
The role involves developing, executing, and implementing the agreed contracting strategy for Maintenance, Projects, and Programs services contracts (inclusive of Integrated Events). The Operator will interface with various stakeholders, including procurement, projects, maintenance, technical teams, operations, and contractors, with the overall goal of maximizing commercial value through efficient contract execution.

Main Responsibilities
The SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Contracting Strategy for contract services will be responsible for the following core requirements:

  • Ownership of the contracting strategy for services contracts.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for procurement throughout the entire contract lifecycle (including tender preparation, negotiations, and contract implementation).
  • Leading the management of change for the implementation of new site contracts.
  • Promoting collaboration and improvement through networking and peer assists.
  • Maintaining core procedures and documentation within the Commercial Group.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Successful application of the contract strategy that delivers commercial advantage.
  • Timely completion of tendering processes and implementation in line with agreed timelines.
  • High customer satisfaction regarding the structure of contracts.
  • Clear contract alignment and understanding among the Business Line Contract Owners and Contracting Groups.
