We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires mechanical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and providing excellent customer service.

Schedule Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Payrate $35HR

Duties

• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, boiler and other facility systems.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
• Supervise maintenance projects and coordinate with external contractors when necessary.
• Needs to be able to work on all the machines in the building.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
• Weld components as required for repairs or modifications.

*******Employee must have a Black Seal boiler license*****

Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and ability to perform electrical repairs.
• Experience in residential painting is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on communication and problem resolution.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments.
