Job SummaryWe’re looking for a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team! You'll complete maintenance on vacant houses to get them move-in ready as well as make repairs at occupied units after have taken occupancy. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has some prior maintenance experience. Maintenance personnel must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle..
Responsibilities
- Ideally, conduct routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring to make sure they’re operating efficiently and make any needed repairs
- Inspect the properties for any structural damage to windows, doors, and walls and perform necessary repairs
- Complete punch lists for make-readies before take occupancy
- Keep a record of completed repairs and when the equipment was last serviced
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our houses operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
- Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience
- Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and/or electrical systems
- Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
- Available to be on call and respond to maintenance requests on nights and weekends
- Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and transportation
