Production Technician (2nd or 3rd shift)

Vernon Hills, IL

$29 - $36 an hour

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a client in the medical equipment manufacturing industry that is looking to hire a Production Technician! This position is CTH after 90 days and has 2nd and 3rd shift openings. This opportunity comes with plenty of opportunity to learn and grow from a 24/7 production environment into a higher position, great benefits including 401K and PTO once converted.

Responsibilities:

• Sets up and operates BFS machines and support equipment to produce bottled sterile solutions.

• Sets up and operates BFS machines to produce bottled sterile solutions. Ensures that machines are working properly.

• Start-up of purified water system and maintain operation.

• Compound solutions per SOP’s and prescribed formulations.

• Knows and understands “standards” for products.

• Follows written operating procedures.

• Maintains proper Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices, and Workplace Contamination Rules compliance.

• Recurring physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, crouching, using tools, frequently lifting up-to 30 pounds, occasionally lift up-to 50 pounds and on rare occasion lift up-to 100 pounds.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working with mechanical systems
• Automotive repair or Filling operations or Blow molding or Experience setting up and operating BFS (Blow-fill seal) machines
• Experience reading blueprints
• Able to follow written procedures and document results
• Physical demands- sitting, standing, walking, crouching, using tools
• Frequently able to lift up to 100 lbs (mainly 30-50 lbs)
