We are looking for an entry level Maintenance Technician to join our team at Agrisolutions in Rock Island, IL. The maintenance technician helps keep their facilities clean and in working order and is responsible for repairing and performing regular maintenance on fixtures and equipment. This position is necessary to ensure that the primary production lines’ operational processes meet and or exceed requirements for safety, quality, reliability, cost, capability, and capacity.

The position is 1st or 2nd shift at our manufacturing facility in Rock Island, IL. Our 1st shift runs from 6am-2pm and our 2nd shift runs from 2pm to 10pm M-F. There will be occasional scheduled Saturday coverage when needed.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to follow printed Preventative Maintenance work orders and complete timely.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair physical assets and infrastructure for ongoing use.
• Record activities, supplies, and necessary components
• Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to evaluate needs and project plans.
• Train on and maintain robotic programming and robot operational PM on assembly lines.
• Assist with new equipment installations for the line(s).
• Assist set ups on robotic welding systems.
• Following written and verbal instructions

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a maintenance/technician position
• Excellent technical skills
• Knowledge of process related standards
• Good verbal, written, and planning skills
• Ability to read prints and referenced specifications
• Mechanical and electrical trouble shooting skills
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Duties and responsibilities performed normally do require special physical requirements including bending, stooping, squatting, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Works in a factory environment and can be exposed to dirt, grit, noise and dust. Protective clothing and safety equipment is required while working in the plant facility.
