Maintenance Technician
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client in Irwin is seeking a Maintenacne Tech to join the team.
Position will be on 1st shift
Dutise:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to pneumatic systems, including compressors, valves, and actuators.
- Fabricate and weld parts using various materials and tools to repair or replace damaged components.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480V, including motors, starters, control systems, and wiring.
- Conduct inspections and perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including parts used, labor hours, and equipment status.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve issues and improve equipment performance.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly, minimizing downtime and production interruptions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and upgrades.
- Provide feedback on equipment performance, suggesting improvements or upgrades where necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
Requirments:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge and experience with pneumatic systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Proficiency in fabrication, welding, and using hand and power tools to create or repair components.
- Experience working with 480V electrical systems, including motors, control panels, and wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem
-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
