Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring our Community remains safe, functional, and welcoming for our , staff, and visitors. In this position, you’ll be a vital part of creating a home-like environment where our feel valued and cared for.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure safety and compliance with all codes and regulations.

Complete work orders and room turns efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and cleanliness.

Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and respond to urgent maintenance requests.

Assist in maintaining an inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment necessary for repairs and maintenance tasks.

Participate in preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure operational reliability.

Support efforts to maintain the community’s curb appeal, including landscaping, snow removal, and exterior upkeep.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.

Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field, preferably in a residential or healthcare setting.

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and HVAC systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service mindset.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
