WorkComp360 has partnered with an Aerospace Company in Santa Ana and is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Summary of Position
Under direct supervision, the Maintenance Technician will perform and support manufacturing equipment maintenance in the facility. This role will perform troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of production machinery and equipment in the manufacturing facility and will support the maintenance team with various maintenance tasks and projects.
Essential Functions
• Physically oversee building maintenance and repairs
• Order parts and maintain required documents
• Perform general upkeep and maintenance of shop equipment including (e.g. bridge ports, drill presses, forklifts, etc.)
• Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair, making notes and
recommendations using a pre‐established check sheet
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, parking lots, and other work areas
• Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, etc.)
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.)
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Any additional duties assigned by management
Required Skills, Education & Experience
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:
• Minimum High School Diploma/GED required
• 1-2 years working experience in facility maintenance
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry is a plus
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented

• Ability to effectively handle tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work varied shifts, overtime, and weekends when necessary
• Has confidence in leading processes, projects and looks for opportunities
• Ability to work with management team to help drive performance of location

• While performing the duties of this job, employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles.
• The employee may be exposed to vibration.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• May be required to work weekends to meet department and business demands.
• Work with safe manufacturing processes and understanding that eyewear is mandatory in the manufacturing area.
• Knows that safety shoes are recommended in the manufacturing area.
