APEX Gym is dedicated to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for fitness enthusiasts of all levels. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure our facilities are always in top condition for our members and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks across the gym, including equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Inspect gym equipment for safety and functionality, addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of locker rooms, showers, and restrooms, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment wear and tear.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and members.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and tools; order replacements as needed.
• Collaborate with external vendors for specialized repairs or installations.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure adherence to OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to operate tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with fitness equipment repair and maintenance is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
