2nd shift available 3pm-11;30pm shift differential of 1.75/hr & 3rd shift available 11pm-730am shift differential of $1.50

Both shifts have hourly attendance bonus of $0.66

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for keeping production machines running in an efficient manner with minimal downtime.

Essential Functions & Duties:

  • Monitors production, responds to maintenance calls, troubleshoots machine problems, determines corrective action needed, and repairs/adjusts machines as necessary.
  • Checks and organizes spare part inventory and researches availability of needed parts.
  • Tracks downtime issues to predict necessary preventative maintenance items.
  • Installs, rebuilds, modifies, and cleans machine pats as necessary.
  • Performs preventive maintenance to machines to prevent necessary downtime.
  • Interacts with co-workers, customers, and outside vendors.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
  • Continuously seeks to improve processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalency is .
  • Minimum 3 years experience in equipment maintenance in a mass production manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledgeable of machines used in production
  • Skilled in welding; fabrication; and basic mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical ladder logic
  • Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic tools, grinders, bandsaws, multimeters, manometers, and electric tools
  • Available to work 2nd (3 pm to 11:30 pm) and 3rd shift (11 pm to 7:30 am) and mandatory overtime, and perform other physical tasks associated with job

Industrial Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Skills:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in facility and equipment maintenance .
  • Skills needed include a good understanding of plant electrical, mechanical, PLC, HVAC, hydraulics, compressed air system, pneumatics, data entry skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel & Word. Knowledge of machines used in production
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive arm movements, lift up to 50 pounds, stand on concrete for extended periods of time, work additional hours as needed, and withstand temperatures of a manufacturing environment
