Commercial Maintenance Technician

Job Type:

Full Time

Job goal:

Maintain interior and exterior of commercial office buildings to owner satisfaction

Job duties:

Perform manual and mechanical tasks required to fix/repair issues with building lighting, HVAC, plumbing ,electrical , interior and exterior finishes, life safety equipment, and grounds upkeep by monitoring and contacting vendors. Also conducting regular maintenance tasks as requested.

Job requirements/qualifications:

Clean NC driving record(no exceptions)

Ability to pass physical and drug test

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must be able to lift up to 70lbs

Must be proficient with hand-tools

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Adheres to specific safety guidelines set by OSHA and attends weekly Maintenance meetings

Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and fire safety systems

Completes all maintenance work orders in a timely and efficient manner

Must be able to work on-call after hours rotation

Must have good communication skills and attitude

Maintains all equipment to ensure safety and equipment upkeep

Must be able to work in extreme warm and cold temperatures at times of need

Must wear company uniform and adhere to dress standards

Must live within one hour of Raleigh/Durham area
