What you’ll do:
As our Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be the heartbeat of our community, ensuring our properties remain in top-notch condition. Your day will be diverse and exciting, with responsibilities including:
- Expert Troubleshooting: Tackling plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs with skill and precision.
- Proactive Inspections: Conducting regular property and equipment inspections to catch and fix issues before they become problems.
- Hero: Responding promptly and professionally to maintenance requests, making our residents' days brighter.
- Property Upkeep: Keeping common areas and grounds immaculate and safe, ensuring our community always looks its best.
- Collaboration: Working with contractors and vendors to coordinate specialized repairs and services.
- Detail-Oriented Documentation: Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Emergency Response: Participating in the on-call emergency maintenance rotation, being the dependable go-to in times of need.
Requirements:
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a residential setting.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance practices.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Availability for on-call rotation and emergency repairs.
Technical or trade school certification is a plus.
Ability to bend & lift (approx 60lbs. Max), Walking, Traveling.
Able to walk on and visually inspect roof tops and roof facilities as needed.
