Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Description: Summary: Keeps apartment building, or similar building, in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1.\tSweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
2.\tEmpties garbage containers.
3.\tMaintains building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
4.\tComplete work orders.
5.\tReplaces air conditioner filters.
6.\tCautions tenants regarding complaints about excessive noise, disorderly conduct, or misuse of property.
7.\tNotifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
8.\tCleans debris from sidewalk.
9.\tMows lawn, trims shrubbery, and cultivates flowers.
10.\tPosts signs to advertise vacancies.
11.\tOther duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Certificates and Licenses: No certifications needed
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
