Midnight - Maintenance Engineer

Hercules Drawn Steel a cold drawn steel mill currently has an opening for a Maintenance Technician at our Livonia, MI facility. The full-time Maintenance Technician will be training with the current maintenance manager to repair / learn all maintenance at Hercules Drawn Steel.

Equipment including Wean Drawbench, Samuel Platt Draw bench, Schumag Drawbench, Danielli KZ80 drawbench, Banders, Meelco Testers, and Bar Straighteners. Daily maintenance work, machine repair, weld, millwright work, electrical work, machine parts as necessary to maintain plant equipment.

General Functions:

· Prospect must be open to work any shift

· Familiarity of Draw Benches/ Testing equipment used in the transformation of metal bars

· Experience in a plant environment

· Knowledge of OSHA/MIOSHA

· Safety requirements including Lock out/ Tag out

Required Skills

· Machine repair / Trouble shooting

· Able to read Electrical / Mechanical blueprints and fabricate parts from them

· Journeyman status

· Able to operate Bridgeport and Lathe

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $32.40 per hour
