Maid Rite Specialty Foods Inc. is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for Second Shift!

Job Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment; understand and comply with workplace safety regulations.
• Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual inspections, listening for irregular noises, and conducting scheduled testing as appropriate.
• Monitor, identify and respond promptly to signs of malfunction in machinery such as changes in performance, temperature fluctuations, sounds, smells, or atypical energy usage; perform troubleshooting for production machinery.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Perform routine and emergency repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical, electric, and hydraulic; identify and replace worn or damaged parts.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Use a variety of power and hand tools .
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role with experience in a mechanical and manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Experience with HVAC/R systems and industrial mechanics
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and tools
• Ability to perform stick welding for repairs and fabrication
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• May be required to work weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
