Maintenance Technician Lead

This position will provide support for conveyor systems, troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and preventative maintenance of machinery for our customers. We are looking for individuals with strong electrical controls background. Only serious candidates with verifiable work history need apply. BAS Industrial Services supports the material handling industry working with AC, DC, Relay controls, 3 phase, 1 phase, PLC, Variable speed drives, and electrical motors.

This position mainly covers the Northern Las Vegas area but on occasion, there will be travel beyond that area.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
• Install and repair electrical equipment and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot motor and control systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance task on electrical wiring and mechanical systems.
• Will be responsible for reporting to immediate supervisor completion and status of preventive maintenance task.

​​Qualifications:

• Certified Journeyman Electrician or equivalent, with a strong background in controls. Work history will be verified. Knowledge of controls will be tested.
• Advance relay logic knowledge.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
• Familiarity with electrical equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• All candidates/employees are required to provide their own hand tools. (list of required tools will be provided)

All candidates will be required to demonstrate electrical knowledge.
