Job: Shift Maintenance Associate – Rotating Night Shift - $3K Sign on bonus

Location: Conyers, GA
Shift: Rotating Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 2-3-2 schedule)

About the Role:
A growing food packaging facility in Conyers, GA, is seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Associate to join its team. With 10 highly automated production lines and two new lines set to come online by the end of the year, this position is essential to ensuring equipment runs efficiently and safely. This is a great opportunity for experienced electromechanical technicians with strong mechanical and electrical skills to thrive in a dynamic environment.

You will be troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery used to produce plastic food containers and lids for clients like DQ and Costco.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and hydraulic drawings.
• Maintain and troubleshoot power transmission components (bushings, chains, shafts, gearboxes).
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, including voltages from 24V to 480V, control panels, PLCs, drives, and servo motors.
• Use multimeters to measure and diagnose electrical components effectively.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure all systems run safely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, ideally in a plastics manufacturing environment.
• Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting.
• Experience working with automated machinery in a fast-paced setting.
• High school diploma or technical training is required.
• Must provide a complete toolset and toolbox by the end of the first week.
