About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing industry. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant in NC. Your primary goal will be to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. You will work closely with the production team to identify and resolve any issues that may arise, ensuring that our facility is always running at peak performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
- Proficiency in plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry, and mechanical repair
- Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in a related field
- Experience with precision measuring tools
- Knowledge of drywall installation and repair
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and HVAC
Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions
- Collaborating with the production team to identify and resolve issues
- Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
Skills:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will use your expertise in plumbing, precision measuring, drywall, mechanical repair, mechanical systems, carpentry, electrical wiring, and ladder climbing on a daily basis. You will work closely with the production team to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that our facility is always running at peak performance. Your excellent communication and problem-solving skills will be essential in maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
