The Maintenance Technician Senior will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, testing, and documentation of a wide range of office utility and facility equipment in manufacturing, utility plants, analytical labs, and office areas. This role requires extensive hands-on maintenance experience, including advanced troubleshooting skills, GMP knowledge, and the ability to perform technical work in a regulated environment. The role also involves working with various teams and departments to ensure the safe and efficient operation of critical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Perform advanced installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of equipment used in manufacturing, utility plants, analytical labs, and office areas.
- Work on building, utility, and production systems/equipment with minimal production impact while adhering to predefined schedules.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Develop and write various quality systems and safety documentation including SOPs, Change Control (CCMS), Non-Conformance (NC), Work Orders (WO), Job Plans (JP), Hazard Risk Assessments (HRA), and Job Hazard Assessments (JHA).
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SOPs, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), and Amgen procedures.
- Maintain logs and documentation for completed tasks, inspections, and repairs, ensuring proper documentation for audits and compliance.
- Equipment & Systems:
- Interpret and revise electrical schematics, P&ID’s, I/O wiring, panel drawings, and loops sheets.
- Understand and apply packaging configurations for inspection and packaging processes.
- Reconcile components and products, and calculate product exposure to room temperatures as required.
- Training & Leadership:
- Provide training for staff, clients, and projects related to maintenance activities.
- Support audit processes and technically review and approve maintenance reports, forms, plans, and records.
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and effective operations.
Skills:
- Knowledge of GMP and understanding of manufacturing and utility equipment in a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with filling and finishing manufacturing processes, preferably vial inspection.
- Strong understanding of measurements, calculations, and the metric system.
- Hands-on Maintenance Experience.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree with 4 years of experience in maintenance, OR
- High school diploma/GED with 6 years of experience in a hands-on maintenance role.
- Extensive troubleshooting system experience in manufacturing or facilities maintenance.
- Experience in performing advanced repair and maintenance on complex systems and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Experience with the development and review of safety documentation and quality systems (SOPs, CCMS, etc.).
- Experience with interpreting and modifying electrical schematics, P&ID’s, I/O wiring, and panel drawings.
Benefits
Shift Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts: 6:30 PM – 7:30 AM, Thursday through Saturday, and alternating Wednesdays.
- Initial onboarding/training phase (2-6 weeks): Monday through Friday, approximately 8 AM – 5 PM.
