Responsibilities for Manager: Analyze and develop large datasets using mathematics and statistical modeling and other business analysis tools such as SASPerform arithmetic computations and apply methods of numerical analysis to data Develop predictive models using statistical analysis methods such as classification, time-series analysis, regression, statistical inference validation toolsIdentify and communicate technical matters to both clients and upper management as well as update the client on the ever-evolving industry and technology trends by participating in professional conferences, maintaining relationships with others and reading professional journalsContribute to the development and maintenance of KPMGs suite of market-leading statistical models with a variety of statistical applications Design mathematical models to interpret data, using the relevant information available, often using computer programs Additional Responsibilities for Director:Oversee engagement personnel and manage various facets of engagement including risk management, project acceptance, billing, delivery and collectionsPrepare materials and present complex mathematical concepts/results to ManagementCompose and analyze historical data; identify patterns and trends Qualifications for Manager:Minimum five years of work experience in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Optimization/Mathematical programming or other related fieldsBachelors degree in a related field such as Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, from an accredited college/university; Masters or from an accredited college/university is a plusExperience with complex multivariate modeling techniques to identify and solve complex problems Advanced knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics and their applicationsExcellent technical skills, including in fields such mathematics, empirical software applications, such as SAS, Stata, Matlab and R Travel may be up to 80-100% Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future Additional Qualifications for Director::Minimum eight years of work experience in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Optimization/Mathematical programming or other related fieldsA well-established understanding of business dynamics and regulations as well as a network of industry contacts and development opportunitiesExperienced leader with strong background in Applied Analytics & Research and strong business acumenKPMG LLP (the member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
