With a heavy investment backing, our client is dedicated to developing a state-of-the-art renewable energy portfolio in India.Job DescriptionThe Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the review of detailed engineering designs in compliance with standards & CEA technical regulations of large Wind & Hybrid Plants ensuring quality & safety.Design & Engineering of Substation up to 220kV. (Preparation/ Review of data sheet, SLD & layout, selection of equipment, Earthing system, Relay & Protections, SAS architecture, design basis etc.)Preparation of detail Scope of Supply and project RFQ document of various electrical equipment's like Power Transformers, Unit substations, transmission lines etc.Review Vendor drawings, datasheet and Manufacturing Quality PlansReview of Transmission Line upto 220kV including Route Survey investigation, Tower Profile & schedules etc.Review of Load flow & Reactive Power study, PSSE/PSCAD study reports for Grid connectivity & FTC performed by external consultants for various STU & CTU connected projects as per Grid India & CTU requirements.Site survey for feasibility of Wind farm Project including Transmission Line and Grid Substation connectivity.Technical discussions, follow-up & closures with Various Manufacturers/ Vendor / Contractors - Pre & Post award of bids.Close engineering coordination with projects teams on multiple projects during construction & commissioning phases.Coordination of quality Inspections of WTG & BoP equipment's, review of test certificates and releasing dispatch clearances.The Successful ApplicantBE/B Tech in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in EHV System designMust have worked on a minimum of 300 MW of Wind ProjectsCommitted to working hours, mobile & flexible for work locationsPerform well in a high pressure work environmentGood communication skills, both written and oralResult -oriented, creative and analytical approachFlexible to visit project sites, as and when required
