From designing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok no matter how big or small. The Manager — Research, Intelligence and Analytics, will support the analytical needs of the Global SMB marketing department and be responsible for evaluating and interpreting data to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. They will leverage data to provide insightful analysis of audience engagement, conversion rates, and other pertinent metrics. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in marketing data analysis, audience development, be a self-learner, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights. This position will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on marketing and campaign performance across digital platforms and channels while advancing operational excellence and driving deep audience engagement. ResponsibilitiesPre-Campaign Forecasting and Strategic Planning:- Utilize data analysis to forecast marketing performace- Assist in developing marketing strategies and guiding teams to set realistic targets and goals based on insights- Utilize advanced analytics tools (., Splash) to derive actionable insights and recommendations for performance optimization- Present findings clearly and concisely to various stakeholders- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven decision-making into marketing strategies- Support A/B testing and other data-driven experiments to improve outcomes Market Research Analytics:- Analyze market research data to uncover actionable insights shaping marketing strategies- Stay informed on industry trends Reporting and Infrastructure:- Build and maintain reports, CRM dashboards, and KPIs to monitor performance- Standardized department's approach to reporting, including, establishing reporting cadence, structure/format and identifying/implementing ways to drive automation- Disseminate and present recurring research findings (., CSAT) via formal region-specific and global share-out sessions - Distill and present research and data to Marketing in the form of outlines, visualizations and presentations to enable the business to develop and fine-tune its business ideas and strategy- Track campaign effectiveness through backend development tools and analytics - Lead data analysis by extracting meaningful insights from large and complex datasets to identify trends, areas of improvement — communicating key findings and actionable recommendations- Responsibilities may include SQL source creation, web analytics dashboard development, ownership of tracking codes and QR codes- Ensure seamless communication within a complex institution encompassing multiple markets and geographic regions- Collaborate with leadership to implement metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide actionable insights and support a culture of data-driven decision making What We Value in this Role (Aligned to our ByteStyles):- Aim for the Highest: A blend of strategic thinking and execution who can wear multiple hats and get things done. Minimum Qualifications- Experience measuring marketing and communications campaign effectiveness based on pre-defined campaign success metrics (., conversions, number of file downloads, etc)- Strong understanding of marketing metrics with past experience in building campaign KPIs and constructing measurement and attribution frameworks- Proven experience working with large and complex datasets- Strong digital marketing analytics skills, such as but not limited to web analytics, email, machine learning, data-driven decision making, customer data management, search engine optimization, search engine marketing- Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work with and communicate complex data-driven insights to diverse audiences of varying seniority level. - Must be comfortable using substantiated data to both identify and solve problems and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and web analytics tools - Experience with and working knowledge of SQL, tracking codes, branded links, and QR code development Preferred Qualifications - Experience collecting both business and technical requirements for analysis- Experience supporting a global department that works in various timezones, regions and markets- Experience working on lean teams, and being the department's only knowledge manager- Ability to adhere to strict turnaround times- Ability to work on a high volume of projects simultaneously without sacrificing work quality - Proactive mindset- Demonstrates a willingness to continually learn and improve- Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
