Accountabilities & ResponsibilitiesNew Project Development : Understand the business requirements from Management & design projects as per given specifications. Study & analyze the project specifications & conduct project feasibility study. Work out man, machine & material requirements of new projects and submit proposal along with ROI to the Management for approval. Implementation & Coordination: Identify the vendors for new machines/material as per project specifications. Obtain quotations & negotiate the rates with best cost. Generate indents & issue purchase orders. Initiate the project work and complete the same as per approved specifications & budget. Quality Control & Evaluation: Monitor the quality parameters and ensure the project implementation is as per agreed standards. Take periodical review of the ongoing work and provide necessary guidelines to improve the work.Project Handover & Coordination: Complete and handover the project to the customer & provide necessary guidelines for implementation. Continual Improvement: Understand the development requirements in the ongoing work and design appropriate solutions to improve productivity & efficiency. Design & implement best practices for continual improvement. Create awareness among employees for value engineering, kaizens & suggestions etc.& provide necessary guidelines. Coaching, motivating & developing high performing team: Identify training needs & conduct training programs for staff/operators to improve capability. Provide opportunities for growth of employees & development of potential. Design goals/KPI for subordinates & conduct performance appraisals. Provide feedback on performance. Coach & motivate employees for superior performance. Self Development: Set goals for individual development. Take efforts to improve knowledge & skills for continual improvement.
