The Role: Key responsibilities:As a Manager, Workforce Planning and Demand Management, Delivery Support Services, you will: Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with QPS values as outlined above. Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. Manage a program and project demand management and workforce planning service within the Delivery Services Branch, eHealth Queensland. Lead, design and develop a 1-, 2- and 3-year workforce plan by job family for each business unit within the Delivery Services Branch. You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under ‘Key Responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following: Proven ability to establish and manage the provision of tactical, operational and strategic workforce planning and demand management service to support the timely provision of people resources to a number of large-scale, complex information communication and technology (ICT) programs and projects. Proven ability in providing expert advice on, and direction in communicating insights into patterns of people resource and skillset demand. Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support effective program and project delivery, including the ability to influence key stakeholders. Proven negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex program/project environment. Proven ability to develop a workforce dashboard that utilises available workforce data to visualise the current workforce and support workforce planning decisions using PowerBI. Demonstrated high level ability to conceptualise, develop, communicate, and evaluate, new, innovative, and creative approaches to address complex organisational issues Proven experience in leading and mentoring an effective multi-disciplinary team. Qualifications and professional certifications in one or more of the following fields are considered highly desirable:Human resource management, strategic workforce planning, statistical or similar qualification Program and project management particularly Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) and Managing Successful Projects (PRINCE2®).
