Manufacturing and Packaging multi skilled Engineer

Achieva are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join a busy Manufacturing site in Maidenhead. This is an opportunity to join a company whose sole goal is to improve peoples health! They have products consumed across the world and are still growing. You would be joining a team of Maintenance Engineers who are responsible for planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery.

Responsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer:



Maintaining key equipment and machinery across the Packaging and Manufacturing departments including, but not limited to Granulators, Coaters, Fluid Bed Dryers, Blenders, IBC Hoists, Capsule Filling Machines, Co-Mills, Vacuum Transfer Systems, Bin Wash Stations, Tablet Presses, Conveyor Belts, Blister Machines, Check Weighers and Cartonators.

Maintenance of GMP documentation, as required by the governing regulator (MHRA) and in line with best practice.

Operational Qualification and revalidation.

Supporting the wider Facilities team with maintenance planning and scheduling.

Driving continuous improvement across all engineering processes and procedures through innovation and teamwork.

In addition to the core manufacturing equipment, you will also assist in the maintenance and operations of core utilities (purified water, compressed air systems, Chilled Water Systems, HVAC systems, and various control systems on site) 

Requirements for a Maintenance Engineer:



An understanding of the Manufacturing/Production process

Ideally an HND level (QCF Level 4 or 5) or equivalent qualification is a mechanical discipline

Understanding of Low Voltage systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Maintenance Engineer Package:



Up to £45,000

Monday – Friday (No weekends)

Double Days – 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm (No Nights)
