Manufacturing Design Support Engineer

We are working with a leading manufacturer of Calibration Instruments used in temperature, pressure, and flow measurement across a variety of industries. We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Design Support Engineer to join their Engineering Services team based in Sevenoaks, Kent.



Salary & Benefits: £40,000 to £50,000, depending on experience

Type: Permanent, 4 ½ day working week, Hybrid occasionally



Key Responsibilities:



Oversee the day-to-day manufacture of electronic products, ensuring technical compliance with standards and customer requirements.

Provide technical support to sales, production, and customers (occasional site visits may be required).

Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes and cost reduction.

Design and implement transitions from prototype to production, including test benches for higher volumes.

Ensure on-time delivery of manufactured transmitters and manage the training of production personnel. Required Experience:



Relevant experience in manufacturing, with a focus on electronic products

BEng in Electrical engineering.

IET Functional Safety.

Electronic engineering apprenticeship.

Educated to A level standard.

CAD (ideally SolidWorks)

Knowledge of UKCA, ATEX & PED
