Manufacturing Electrical Engineer (Tuas GRC)
Support the setup of new refurbish/repair lines and production transfersDevelop and implement process validation activities for new line setup and testing software changes.Provide Product Engineering support, including second level failure analysis on return instrumentsSet up and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and drawings in SAP, managing changes through Agile for refurbish and repair partsTrain and support other repair center engineersProvide engineering support to other repair centersRequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have:A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge/experience in test programming ( LabVIEW/TestStand) is a plusProficient in identifying and resolving technical issues at the PCBA and instrument levelProficiency in engineering change processes ( Agile ECR/ECO process)Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other functionsExperience with IVD products and requirements (ISO 13485 / ISO9001) is an advantageJoin our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and be part of an ambitious organization that is dedicated to enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
