£40,000 - £45,000

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a highly reputable business based in the Gloucester and Cheltenham area.

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible and accountable for the day-to-day engineering support on both an electrical and mechanical basis.

Duties:

• Support products through the full product lifecycle.
• Provide technical support to all internal and external stakeholders.
• Produce technical documents and reports.
• Perform root cause investigations.
• Deliver corrective actions to rectify root cause failures,
• Ensure training is actioned and maintained for shop floor Operatives.

Background:

• A degree or equivalent in a technical subject OR
• Significant industry experience.
• Prior support / Production Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Aerospace experience is desirable.
• Can work well under minimal supervision.
• Able to travel to provide technical support if required.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills of technical issues.
• Capable of using MS Office and ERP systems effectively.
